The writing process on the new album was like this.
David would send me a da38 tape of rough structures, i would
write drum parts, sometimes adding keyboards, and in rare instances, vocals,
then he'd drive down 101 to Santa Barbara, we'd brainstorm, then record finals.
then mix, remix and re-arrange some more.

Then, as we thought we'd finished, and Tracy went into labor,
we somehow found more songs, and ideas to almost completely re-make the album.

Now the home base was Palo Alto, so it was my turn to drive up 101.
A friend, Greg Baldzokowski jumped in to help motivate us.
After about 4 months holed up in a bachelor pad along the train tracks,
we finished 15 songs and titled it "Whenever You're Ready".
